Nutribites Freeze-dried Treats
Nutri-bites makes some very economical and very simple, healthy freeze dried meat treats! Sometimes you can find these at Costco for great prices. Otherwise, check out the different protein flavors and bag sizes on Amazon! These are fantastic to use as high-value treats and break them up small for training sessions.
My dogs love Steve’s Real Food as a nutritious raw food topper on their meals each day. Comes in frozen and freeze-dried options.
This food is actually something that I tend to use as treats, as it’s a bit expensive to feed as full meals. But the flat pieces of air dried meat are a VERY valuable treat for many dogs! They also come in a variety of proteins and can be broken into even smaller pieces during training sessions.
There are a lot of good quality brands of food on the market, but Open Farm is a high quality, high transparency food that I’ve been a fan of for a while now. They have several lines of quality food products.

Fig & Tyler is a wonderful small business dedicated to creating high quality treats for dogs. All of their meats are human grade and freeze dried.
Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Food
Honest Kitchen makes human grade, high quality dog foods and then dehydrates them so they can be stored and rehydrated easily. I love using HK food for stuffing Kongs, West Paw, Soda Pup, and Chew King toys and popping them in the freezer for some long lasting snacks for the dogs.
